# Amplience credits update

**Release date: 13th October 2025**

To use the features of [Content Studio](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/workforce/setup/) and our other [AI services](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/ai-services/), you'll need to spend [Amplience credits](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/ai-services/credits/) and choose a credits plan to meet your needs. Credit allowances are **now allocated annually rather than monthly**, making it easier for you to plan your credit usage throughout the year.

> **Note:** Content Studio has become Workforce.

## Viewing your available credits

Organization admins can track credit use from the [usage tab](https://amplience.com/developers/docs/user-guides/manage-accounts/overview/#credits-reporting) of account management. The AI credits section in the usage tab now shows how many Amplience credits remain from your **annual** credits plan.

In the example shown below, 11450 credits remain of 12000 credits available for the year.

## When is my credit allowance refreshed?

If you have an Amplience credits plan, your credits will recharge annually on the first day of the month detailed in your plan, otherwise your annual recharge date will be January 1st. You can add additional credits at any time.

## What happens to my existing credits?

If you are on a credits plan, your credits allowance will now be calculated on a yearly basis. At the time of this change, your credits balance will be calculated to include any unused credits since 1st January, or the beginning of your credits plan.
