# Setting up your audience

Audiences let you create versions of your content that's tailored for different groups of people.

## Defining audiences

You can create multiple audiences each with their own characteristics.

### Audience label

Give each audience a unique label that's easy to understand and recognize at a glance.

> **Tip: Use descriptive audience labels**
> Audience labels are what the AI model primarily considers when generating targeted content, so make sure they're descriptive and avoid vague and abstract words.

Remember that you're trying to describe a specific demographic of people. They should be easy to identify from your description. For example:

- Tech-savvy millennials
- Pet owners
- Luxury travelers
- New Parents
- Fitness enthusiasts
- Gamers

### Age group

Setting the age group helps to create content that's customized to suit the demographics of the audience.

You can assign different age groups to your audiences. For example, you could target "18-24-year-olds" when creating one piece of content and "65+" for another.

### Gender

Marketing content for your product may target a specific gender, but you can also choose a neutral gender to be more inclusive and appeal to a wider audience.
